Blue Lighting is a company that specializes in designing and manufacturing innovative pool lighting products, they offer a variety of pool lighting solutions from color-changing LED lights to smart control systems to create dynamic and interactive pool environments.

Customer Requirement:

The customer required a high-quality aluminum-clad PCB for their pool light control system. They require aluminum-clad PCBs with high thermal conductivity and low thermal resistance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of LED drivers and other electronic components. They also wanted the aluminum-clad PCB to be waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and able to withstand harsh pool conditions.

Project challenges:

The swimming pool environment poses many challenges to the swimming pool light control system, such as high humidity, frequent contact with water and chemicals, etc. These factors will affect the heat dissipation and moisture-proof performance of the PCB and lead to oxidation and corrosion of metal components. Additionally, the customer's product design required a custom aluminum foil PCB with precise drilling and routing to meet their specifications and design requirements.

Our strategy:

We provide customers with customized single-layer aluminum-plated PCBs, consisting of copper layers and aluminum substrates. We have adopted the following strategies to meet our customers' needs and overcome challenges:

Ⅰ: High thermal conductivity and low thermal resistance:
We use high-quality aluminum materials and copper foil to produce aluminum foil PCBs. According to PCB Unlimited, aluminum foil PCB has a high thermal conductivity of 3.0 W/mK and a low thermal resistance of 0.3°C/W, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and performance of LED drivers and other components.
